Codling, Cyber Security, Risk Management and Data Privacy Executive and former Unit Chief – FBI Cyber Division will share with us developments in global cyber threats and how he is advising domestic and international companies on cyber and data security best practices.

Background

Don Codling is an Executive Consultant advising domestic and international companies on cyber and data security best practices.  With the FBI for over 23 years working in a variety of investigative programs focusing on International Cyber Crime and Cyber National Security Operations with particular emphasis on cyber security challenges in the global financial services industry, energy sector and health care industries.  Following service in the United States Marine Corps Infantry, Don Codling received his BS in Civil Engineering from Norwich University.  Before joining the FBI, he was an engineer for a telecommunications firm in Dallas.

Don has worked as a CISO and CPO for a number of companies.  He served as chairman of an international cybercrime working group consisting of the heads of Cyber Investigative Departments of Australia, Canada, New Zealand, the United Kingdom and the United States.
